If you are a user of the open source office suite from Sun then you would be glad to hear version 3.0 has now entered beta and is available to testing.

Even though it is still in development it does allow you to have a good look at what is on offer.  New features will include a new ’start centre’, Open Document support and will be available on Mac to name just a few.

We can all breath a sigh of relief. Service Pack 3 is finally here and couldn’t be better timed. I am sure most have been running RCs and the final release for a while now but for those that are not, the wait is over!

It will be ‘official’ on the 29th of April (that’s tomorrow btw) though a few sites have had it on offer for a little while now.  Softpedia and MajorGeek being the main providers, along with torrents of course.
