May 10th, 2008

Yep, the Star Wars franchise has another Clone Wars animated film coming out. This time however it is a CGI remake of the first chapter, which looks pretty damn cool in the trailers available.

There are several about, this one is via Lucas Film.

Crayon Physics

May 10th, 2008

This is a small game project I have been watching for a little while now.

The aim of the game is quite simple, you get the ball from the start to the finish… the feature that makes this stand out is you draw the objects you need to move the ball!

Instead of me trying to explain it is easier for you to have a look at a preview via the developers blog - HERE.

His original (screenshot shown below) and simpler version, a game made in 7 days, is available to download HERE. But still worth downloading to get an idea of what he is trying to do.

Also posted on the Forum.

New look Llama

May 9th, 2008

New Cyberllama logoPreviously it was rather annoying having the domain point to the forums and the blog linked from that.

So you will now notice Cyberllama.net has three images pointing to the ‘forums’, ‘blog’ and an all new ‘design’.
This is to make the choice much easier to new and regular users alike.

The introduction of the ‘design’ page will allow me to share my web design projects separately.

It also features a new look Cyberllama logo (seen on right) which I made for the page. Not sure if it will replace the old logo though.

FoxIt Reader 2.3

April 29th, 2008

If you are a fan of Adobe PDF reader alternatives then you have probably heard of or run FoxIt reader.

As far as they go it is a great stable, low resource hogging alternative that until now was missing some of the features of the bigger named readers like tabbed browsing, multimedia playback, bookmarks etc.

These and more have been included in version 2.3, available now, which is well worth the upgrade. Download it here!
