Domain name sold for US$2.6m
Monday, April 7th, 2008A man in the US has just sold his domain name, Pizza.com, for a whopping $2.6m after an anonymous bid was put forward.
Chris Clark, 43, has been paying his annual $20 fee for the site since 1994 when he originally purchased it in a hope to win a client in the pizza industry.
His only regret was that he had not purchased more domains back in the early days of the Internet.
Though I am sure he will survive ok on just the one…
