Linux embedded motherboards from ASUS
Thursday, May 15th, 2008ASUS has begun embedding a Linux operating system on selected motherboards. They are using a basic distro called Splashtop that will offer Firefox and Skype support. The cool thing is you won’t need a hard drive to boot your PC and it is near instant to switch on.
As far as embedded software goes it may just be up there Alex the Kid on the Master System!
