AVG 8.0 Free released
Tuesday, April 29th, 2008The other month Grisoft updated its AVG anti virus suite to include; link scanning, anti-spyware, and anti-root kit software.
So now it time for AVG Free to get a face lift too, though it does not receive all the new features (this will cost you US$35+) you do get the addition of spyware protection. It still has real-time protection, daily updates, and complete system scans that is has become known for.
It is worth having a look at whether you run AVG Free or not! (I use it!)
